The Inverell Saints hit the road to Gunnedah tomorrow to cement top spot on the AFL Northwest ladder when they come up against the Bulldogs at Wolseley Oval in Round 6 action.
After coming off a convincing 50-point victory over the Tamworth Swans last week, the Saints know they’ll be coming up against a team starting to brim with confidence.
Coach Matt Harrison say they won’t be taking the Bulldogs lightly on their home turf.
Meantime the Saints Women face their archrival the Poochettes in the early game.
The Saints have struggled to register a win against the reigning premier but will be giving it their best shot tomorrow to inflict the Poochettes 1st loss of the season
The other round 6 match is the all Tamworth affair between the Swans and the Kangaroos at No 1 oval.
