Motorists were caught in a traffic delay on the Guyra Rd between Gilgai and Tingha this morning after a 2-vehicle crash.
Police say the crash occurred when the driver of one vehicle slowed down due to the sun affecting his sight resulting in the other car failing to stop and rear ending him.
No injuries were reported although a child in the second car was taken to Inverell hospital for observation.
Investigations are continuing.
