Hunter Valley picnic jockey Eloise Drews was in fine form on Saturday, claiming both the Talmoi Cup-Talmoi Bracelet feature double at Garah on Saturday.
Drews won the 1000m Helen Boland Memorial Bracelet on Sparks and the 1400m Memorial Cup on Hardyo, both trained at Armidale by Jane Clement.
She became the first female claiming jockey in nearly 20 years to complete the double since Kristy Cumberland in 2005.
Hardyo had some good lead-up form prior to Saturday’s Talmoi Cup run after finishing second in the Mallawa Cup behind Inzaghi, which finished unplaced in the Cup.
