Parts of Inverell were left without power yesterday morning following an unpanned outrage.
Essential Energy received a report of a low powerline on Moore Street in Inverell just after 9am and to safeguard the community, power in the area affecting approximately 2,350 homes and businesses was immediately turned off, until crews could investigate.
Crews identified the powerline, and restored power to the community by 9.30am.
