The Inverell Highlanders will be out to register their first win of the season when they host Pirates at Rugby Park tomorrow in Round 8 action in the Central North Rugby competition.
Highlanders’ 1st grade coach Gemma Noller says recent outings suggest they’re not too far away adding they’ve been in the contest every week but admits Pirates will be strong at scrums and have a young creative backline that will test her team.
Fresh from last week’s bye, Noller is hoping things might change tomorrow in front of a big home crowd.
In other games tomorrow, competition leaders Gunnedah Red Devils host Moree Wee Bolla Bulls in the match of the round while Quirindi Lions travel to Narrabri to take on the Blue Boars
