A local Ritchies IGA employee has taken out the company’s highest and most recognizable award following their awards night held in Coffs Harbour last week.
Sophie Schutz was nominated for and won the Store Champion of the year award, rewarding her leadership qualities and her above and beyond contribution to the company.
Liquor manager Emma Lute and store manager Justin Jannenga were also nominated for separate awards on the night but were unsuccessful.
This year, for the first time, Ritchies IGA combined all their stores in QLD and NSW, spanning from Daisy Hill in QLD to Tarren Point in Sydney to include in their annual awards night with the awards to recognise team members from store managers, assistant store managers, department managers and support people who do a great job and go above and beyond their roles.
