Incumbent Nationals federal member for New England Barnaby Joyce has drawn position 1 on the New England Ballot paper for the May 3rd Federal election following Friday’s Ballot draw.
There will be seven candidates to contest the seat after Clive Palmer’s Trumpet of Patriots party nominated a candidate to stand at the upcoming poll with Todd Charles Juchau, a security guard from Murrurundi and a former Labor party branch treasurer, confirmed to stand.
The Greens Wendy Wales has position 2 followed by Independent Natasha Ledger in position 3, Labor’s Laura hughes in 4, Holly Masters from the Family First Party in 5, Mr Juchau in 6th with One Nations Brent Larkham in 7th spot.
Early polling will commence next week on the 22nd of April
