The annual Warialda Cup Race meeting has received 89 nominations for Saturday’s meeting.
The Warialda Cup has 15 runners nominated with local trainers Ridge Wilson, Todd Payne and Wayne Oakenfull having runners nominated for the cup.
All races will have 8 horses engaged with final acceptances to be announced tomorrow morning.
The Warialda Jockey Club is anticipating a huge crowd on Saturday and hoping for better luck after only racing once in the past 5 years due to wet weather and covid restrictions.
Club President Andrew Phillips says the fully grassed track is rated a Good 3, describing it as the best he’s ever seen it.
