Despite the minor premiership being sewn up, there’s still the battle for 2nd spot to be decided in tomorrow’s final round of the Inverell Cricket competition.
Square and Compass consolidated top spot on the points table after their solid win over Campbell & Freebairn Rebels last weekend but games this weekend will determine who finishes second between the Rebels and Staggy Creek.
Campbell and Freebairn Rebels will need to defeat Square & Compass at Varley Oval to have a chance at advancing to second while Staggy Creek just needs to overcome the winless Delungra at McCosker 2 to retain 2nd place.
Next weeks semi final is already determined with Staggy to play the Rebels for the right to advance to the Grand Final and a meeting with Square & Compass on March 22nd .
In the event of wet weather, the Campbell & Freebairn vs Square & Compass match will be moved to Cameron 1 while the Staggy Creek and Delungra game will be played at Cameron 2
Tomorrow’s matches kick off at 1pm.
