Two members of the NSW Rural Fire Service Northern Tablelands team were recognised for their incredible dedication and commitment over the past three decades.
District manager Scott Mack and Deepwater’s Operational Officer Jason Jarrett were presented with their prestigious long-service medals from outgoing Administration Officer Sally Kelly at a ceremony held last Thursday.
The occasion was a testament to their hard work, leadership, and invaluable contributions to the organisation.
Mr Mack says his 30-year involvement with the RFS began after being a landholder in the Bingara district, starting off as a firefighter to eventually become a captain before rising in the ranks to become the District Manager in 2022.
He says the job has taken him to places across Australia including Victoria and South Australia
