The Inverell Community Sewing for Charity Christmas Toy Drive, held in conjunction with STA FM, has been hailed a success again with needy families having a brighter Christmas.
14 boxes of toys were donated by Squadron Energy, STAFM and community members with these boxes donated to Rural Outreach for distribution to families requiring support with Christmas.
The drive received almost $7000 in donations comprising of community toys contributions, Squadron Energy funding, McLean Care Hampers and gift cards.
Lorraine Brown from Inverell Community Sewing for Charity says the group also made and donated gift bags and cards to make the gifts beautiful and festive for the children and adults.
Mr Brown says the support from STAFM and the Inverell Community was amazing with toys being donated to STAFM office and the Church of Christ Hall during the weeks leading up to Christmas.
