Local SES crews were kept busy responding to numerous jobs around Glen Innes following wild storms that swept through on Friday afternoon.
Around 90 jobs were reported from Glen Innes which copped the brunt of the storm that hit at around 2:15pm and included large hailstones, strong winds and heavy rainfall.
Crews from as far as Maitland, Dorrigo, Singleton and Tamworth along with crews from Tingha, Guyra, Armidale, Moree and Tenterfield came to assist the local unit with the jobs and assess the damage which included smashed skylights, broken windows and damaged roofs.
NSW SES thanked Glen Innes Severn Mayor Margot Davis for her assistance and co-operation over the weekend.
