The New England region is set to experience higher than average temperatures in the coming days leading into the working week.
Temperatures will be averaging in the mid to high 30s with some parts of the region looking to reach its first 40 degree days for the season, the intense heat predicted to linger for 3 days from this Saturday in response to a prolonged period of hot northerly winds, ahead of a cold front forecast early next week.
Some parts of the New England region are also looking at rather uncomfortable overnight temperatures, with some areas forecast to reach low to mid 20s by Monday, however will start to ease from Tuesday.
Though this bout of heat isn’t considered as extreme, precautions are still advised by ensuring adequate hydration, staying in the shade or indoors, as well as proper skin protection.
