Outgoing Federal Member for Parkes Mark Coulton delivered his valedictory speech to Parliament yesterday afternoon
Mr Coulton announced in March this year that he would not be contesting the seat of Parkes at the next federal election, bringing an end to his 16-year political life
In delivering his valedictory speech to Parliament, Mr Coulton says he was really pleased to have all his family and a lot of friends and supporters from the electorate present for his valedictory speech adding he couldn’t have done this job for the past 17 years without their support.
Mr Coulton stated earlier this year that he has represented the people of the Parkes electorate for more than sixteen years but believes the time has come to step aside.
