New England Police have issued an alert to the public to be on the lookout for wanted persons in the region as part of Operation Amarok.
Police are appealing for public assistance to locate 32-year-old Travis McLeod and 43-year-old David Towne who are wanted by virtue of arrest warrants.
Police have received information that the men could be in the Inverell area.
Anyone who sees either men or know of their whereabouts should not approach them but contact police via Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
