A Cultural Immersion Tour is being held at Goonoowigall as part of the school holiday activities being conducted around the district.

The free event tour, aimed at those aged between 12-24 years, is being led by Uncle Alex Munro and includes samples of bush tucker, learning about plants as well as Aboriginal dance and song.

There will also be Elders present inviting interested people to come along and sample traditional food.

Those interested in attending the event, which is supported by Regional Community Builders and funded by the NSW Government, are encouraged to bring suitable footwear, sun smart clothing and have intermediate levels of fitness.

The Cultural Immersion Tour will be held this Friday October 4^th from 10am to 3pm at the Goonoowigall State Conservation area.
