Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan has slammed the Minns Government for continuing to cut funds to regional NSW.
Speaking on STA FM during the week, Mr Moylan says since gaining power in March last year, the government has pushed cuts on the Dept of Regional NSW, the Rural Assistance Authority and various funding models including the Stronger Country Communities Fund and the Resources for the Regions Fund.
Mr Moylan says the Stronger Country Communities fund was of real benefit to the region that funded various projects for sporting Clubs and organisations which have been stopped by the government.
He says the government will tell you that it is trying to tighten the belt on spending but Mr Moylan says it’s quite the opposite.
