Northern Tablelands MP Brendan Moylan has continued to support hardworking nurses and midwives across his electorate and regional NSW, in their concerted effort to push for fairer and more appropriate salaries.
Mr Moylan has made further comments amidst widespread media attention, reaffirming his position to support the nursing profession, saying as the first member of the Coalition to come out and publicly back our nurses, it’s pleasing to see other State MP’s have now done the same.
Mr Moylan has taken aim at the State Labor Government, making it publicly known that other state and territory nurses are paid up to 18% more than their NSW counterparts, resulting in many local nurses relocating to Queensland.
The MP says everyone in the community values nurse and that it’s about time the State Government does as well.
