Residents will go the polls tomorrow to elect their new Council when Local Government Elections are held around the state.
In Inverell, 11 candidates have nominated to fill 9 council positions including current councillors Paul Harmon, Kate Dight, Jo Williams, Paul King, Jacko Ross, and Wendy Wilks and new candidates Fiona Brown, Greg Kachel, Ian Hooker and Graem Murray
The final day of pre polling will be conducted today at the Inverell Town Hall between 8:30 and 6pm.
Voting sites tomorrow around the Shire include Ashford Central School Memorial Hall, Delungra Public School, Gilgai Public Hall, Hall Street, Inverell Public School, Ross Hill Public School, Inverell Masonic Lodge, Tingha Public School, and Yetman Memorial Hall, Warialda Street with voting taking place between 8am and 6pm.
