52-year-old Shayne Trask remains in custody after an incident on Wednesday night outside Inverell Police Station.
Trask fronted court yesterday after allegedly waving what appeared to be a black coloured revolver, forcing officers to secure the Police Station and call for assistance.
Trask was arrested a short time later and taken to Inverell Police Station. Upon a search of his bag, it was alleged a black gel-blaster was found and a bag containing a prohibited drug.
He was charged with possession of weapon to resist arrest, possess unauthorised firearm in public place, intimidate police officer and possess prohibited drug.
His bail continues to be refused with all charges to be assessed before Inverell Local Court next Tuesday 10th September.
