With one more game to play before finals, the Inverell FC Premier League 1sts and reserves are a shoo-in as Minor Premiers after claiming victory over South Armidale United FC at the complex on the weekend.
Both teams coasted through their games, the reserves posting a 3-1 win while the 1sts defeated the visitors 4 NIL; the last game of the season before finals being played at Armidale against East Armidale, with both 1sts and reserves posting mammoth scores against East Armidale last week.
The Armidale Women’s Premier League faced stiff competition at home against competition leaders Norths United, but unfortunately couldn’t deliver on the day going down 2 NIL, however still have a chance at redemption at the finals.
Meanwhile, the Armidale League 3rd and 4th grade teams will come out of their bye from the weekend to play their games in the finals, the 3rd grade team sitting on 2nd position on the ladder while the 4th grade team are in top spot.
