A Police Sergeant attached to a Western Region Command, who fronted Inverell Local court last week, has had his bail conditions continued but has also been served an interim Apprehended Domestic Violence Order.
The 50-year-old police officer faces two counts of intimidation and common assault following an alleged domestic violence incident at a house in the New England District on Thursday 18 July.
The Order on the Officer states he must not assault or threaten, stalk, harass or intimidate, and intentionally or recklessly destroy or damage any property or harm an animal that belongs to or is in the possession of the defendants.
His bail conditions have been continued and will appear at Inverell Local Court on October 9th.
