Hopes Still Bode for Hawks Finals Showing

by | Aug 9, 2024 | Sport | 0 comments

Tingha Tigers finals hopes are put on the line once again this weekend when they host competition leaders Armidale Rams at Bob Ward Oval tomorrow in Round 17 matches of the Group 19 Rugby League competition.

The Tigers sit a game out of the top 4 and are coming off a dominant victory over the lowly Walcha Roos.

Meantime the Inverell Hawks, who could still mathematically make finals, host the Walcha Roos at Varley Oval on Sunday.

The Hawks will need to win their remaining matches against Walcha and Narwan Eels and rely on other favourable results.

In other matches Narwan face the Moree Boomerangs tomorrow while Warialda Wombats face the Bingara Bullets in the local derby on Sunday at Jim Payne Oval which is also Warialda Wombats Old Boys day.
