Inverell FC Premier League 1sts are one step closer to a finals appearance after defeating visiting team Norths United FC at the complex on Saturday.
It was a tight match for the 1sts winning their game 2-1, while the reserves just missed out on a win going down to the Norths 1 NIL.
Meanwhile in the Armidale games, both Inverell teams proved too good for the visiting Demon Knights, the 3rd grade team winning convincingly 3-1 while the 4th grade team took no prisoners thumping the visitors 5-1.
The Armidale Women’s Premier League team weren’t quite as fortunate as their male counterparts, going down to Norths United White 2 NIL.
