by | Aug 2, 2024 | Sport | 0 comments

The Inverell Saints are back at Varley Oval tomorrow in their first home game for almost two months when they host the Gunnedah Bulldogs in Round 10 action in the AFL Northwest competition.

With three games left before finals, the Saints Men team sit a game clear on the ladder but need to keep winning if they’re to host this year’s Grand Final.

Coach Matt Harrison will be hoping to build momentum before finals with tomorrow’s game crucial for his team to build match fitness.

The Saints Women will have one last chance to burst the Poochette’s unbeaten season to date in the early game kicking off at midday.

Saints Women’s Coach Dallas Baldwin will be calling for a better performance from his side after the Poochettes ran amok in their last meeting but believes he has the team to knock them over.

The other game sees the local derby between the Swans and the Kangaroos at Tamworth’s No 1 Oval
