Local Bowler Scott Hamilton is in Sydney today representing NSW in the Over 40s State of Origin Test Series against QLD at St Johns Park Bowling Club.
Mr Hamilton was selected in the team after impressing selectors at trials held in Sydney late last month.
He will be the team lead for NSW Team 1 today, combining with Craig Donaldson from Tuncurry Beach, Beresfield’s David Govan and David Axon from Taren Point and will be looking to retain the shield in this year’s test series after winning it last year.
Scott, who will be playing two games over today and tomorrow, said recently it’s the first time he’ll be representing NSW after being selected on Reserve teams in previous years
