The welcome rainfall came as a result of clouds forming from South East Queensland and heading in an East South Easterly direction, the first bout of rain hitting the area from around 12.30 this morning.
It’s the first time the Inverell region has seen decent rain in more than 2 weeks, with more heavy falls predicted to come down from the start of next week.
