Inverell has received welcome relief in the form of 2 full time doctors to the region after a lengthy period of local medical centres struggling to serve its patients.
At Hadana Medical Practice, Dr Danyal Al Tarachi has joined the team after moving to Inverell from Iraq, working closely alongside Dr Thanh and is now opening his books already tackling the huge waiting list.
Meanwhile, Dr Herman Kruger arrived at Inverell from South Africa in December of last year and is now serving patients out of the St Elmo Medical Practice.
Prior to the recent Inverell Health Forum meeting, council member representatives met with Dr Kruger to express their gratitude, with Inverell Shire Mayor Paul Harmon saying it’s a positive step that the region has finally been blessed with medical professionals to assist the requirements of the community.
