The Rural Assistance Authority has advised financial support is now available in the Inverell and Tenterfield Local Government Areas after the State government declared the areas as a natural disaster following bushfires that began on 31st of August.
With a disaster declaration for theses areas, eligible primary producers, small businesses and non-for-profits organisations can now access financial assistance to help with recovery.
Primary producers are being offered Concessional loans up to $130,000 and Transport subsidies up to $15,000, small business can apply for concessional loans up to $130,000 while Not-for-profit organisations can apply for concessional loans up to $25,000 and donated fodder transport subsidies.
