Local country music star Mel Dyer has climbed to the top of the music charts with her new album, Daisies from Dirt.
Mel’s 3rd studio album is currently the ARIA Number 1 Australian Country Album, entered at No 5 on the Country Album Chart, No 6 on Australian All Genre album chart and No 23 on the All-genre album chart.
The album, released last Friday week, is an autobiographical soundtrack to the country roots that have followed Melanie from a farm at Mt Russell and was shaped during one of the biggest periods of change in Melanie’s life where she left home to base herself in Nashville.
