The future of the Inverell Chamber of commerce & Industry has been secured following the election of office bearers at last week’s meeting.
Only two members expressed interest in executive positions at the Annual General Meeting in August and followed news that former Chamber president Monique Krauss was unable to continue in the role earlier this year due to personal work commitments.
Chloe Nichols has been elected the new Chamber President, Jade McLlwain is the Vice President, Secretary is Jenny Thomas, Treasurer is Krystal Siemon with Anna Watt assuming the member engagement role while Tracy Oppy takes on the Sapphire Dollar Queen position.
Mrs Nichols says with some fresh faces, new ideas and plenty of enthusiasm, along with big shoes to fill, they’re looking forward to what the year ahead will bring.
