After a year spent chasing her country music dream on the other side of the world, Mt Russell’s favourite export Melanie Dyer returns home with her most personal statement yet.
Her third studio album ‘Daisies From Dirt’ is released today alongside the bouncy new single, ‘Country Enough’ with Mel saying the idea for the song came after she kept seeing comments online judging people’s outfits at country shows in the city and wanted to stand up for everyone dressing up and having fun.
Now based in Nashville, Mel explains the album features 10 tracks and details stories of growing up on a farm in Mt Russell through to making her first trip to Nashville 10 years ago
