The 2026 HSC Exams kicks off today with English paper 1 kicking off the 18-day exams window.
This year, students will sit the new HSC Health and Movement Science exam for the first time, replacing the PDHPE Years 11 and 12 syllabus and will be the last year that students are examined on the current English and Mathematics syllabuses, with new syllabuses being examined from next year.
Year 12 students are advised the exam start time shown on their exam timetable is when reading time begins, stressing students must arrive well before this time to allow for seating, checks, and instructions as no extra time will be given if exam timetable instructions are misread.
