Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident between a truck and all-terrain vehicle on the Newell Highway southwest of Boggabilla on Wednesday morning.
At around 10:30am, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to treat two patients.
Paramedics from both NSW and QLD attended along with the helicopter’s critical care medical teams and treated one patient who was airlifted by Lifeflight to Toowoomba Hospital while a man in his 20s with multiple injuries was airlifted to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
