Sapphire Social Ball Raising Funds for Mental Health

by | Oct 8, 2026 | Arts & Culture, Community, Entertainment

  • The Sapphire Social Ball is returning in 2026.
  • It’s a community-focused event bringing people together for a glamorous night of connection, celebration and fundraising.
  • Saturday 31 October 2026
  • Inverell Jockey Club
  • Music by Route 33
  • Catering by Smo-King BBQ
  • Tickets are $140 per person or $1,040 for a table of 8.
  • Tickets are on sale now through TryBooking.

WHAT THE BALL IS ABOUT

  • The Sapphire Social Committee was established to bring people together and create social opportunities for the Inverell community and put us on the map!
  • The Ball is about having a great night out, meeting new people and celebrating our local community, while also raising money for an important local cause.
  • We’re really passionate about making sure funds raised have a direct impact in our community.

2026 DONATION – HIGHWAY TO WELL

  • This year, the Sapphire Social Committee has partnered with Highway to Well.
  • Highway to Well is a local business providing mental health education and training, counselling services, and consulting around people and culture, workplace wellbeing and psychosocial risk.
  • Funds raised through this year’s Ball will support the delivery of mental health services within the Inverell community.
  • The focus is on making one-on-one mental health support more accessible to people experiencing the challenges that can come with rural life, including drought, financial pressures, isolation and other difficult circumstances.
  • The Committee believes accessible mental health support is particularly important in rural communities

GUEST SPEAKER – LETITIA CROSS

  • We’re also excited to welcome Letitia Cross as our guest speaker.
  • Letitia has a lifelong connection to rural Australia and brings together experience in agriculture, business leadership and mental health.
  • She is passionate about strengthening mental health and wellbeing in rural and remote communities.
  • Her message focuses on resilience, connection and looking after the people around us.

SAPPHIRE SPONSORS

We’re incredibly grateful for the support all of our sponsors and particularly our three Sapphire Sponsors

  • Elders
  • Paraway Pastoral Company
  • Inverell Sporties

These organisations all play an important role in our local and regional community, and their support helps make the Ball possible.

WHY SUPPORT THE EVENT?

  • Every ticket contributes to the fundraising effort.
  • It’s an opportunity to dress up, enjoy a great night with friends and meet new people.
  • But importantly, you’re also helping contribute to mental health support for people in our own community.
