Team Inverell start their 15th annual Scrapheap Adventure Run today as they continue to raise money for Down Syndrome Australia.
This year, ‘Scrappers’ plus family and friends will meet for a weekend of fun and entertainment at Camp Cyprus, at Baradine,
Team Inverell member Brendan Campbell, participating in his 11th event, says they’ve already raised over $14,000 for this year’s event, adding the community have certainly supported the fundraising efforts through attending trivia night, raffles and donations.
Fellow Team Inverell member Clint McSpeddan says it’s a joy to raise money for Down Syndrome Australia.
