Inverell F.C season is over after going down 3-0 to Moore Creek in Saturday’s Northern Inland Premier League’s Preliminary final in Tamworth.
Going for their third consecutive premiership, Inverell F.C were on the back foot on Friday when they lost Michael Cashel with a torn ACL and during the game were without Paul Leo who was red carded, part of 8 cards handed down to Inverell F.C during the match while Moore Creek received 1.
Co-Coach Warwick Readett says despite the loss, they’re very proud of their team as this year was a rebuilding year.
