The Tamworth Kangaroos have defeated the Gunnedah Bulldogs by 16 points in the minor semi-final played at Wolseley Oval on Saturday, registering a 9.12.66 to 7.8.50 victory.
The result brings the Bulldogs season to an end while the Kangaroos will play the winner of the Inverell Saints/Tamworth Swans major semi final in a Preliminary Final in a fortnights time.
The Tamworth Swans accounted for their cross town rival the Kangaroos by 10 points winning 7.8.50 to 6.4.40.
The Inverell Saints will host both the Men’s and Women’s major semi-final this Saturday with the winners of the men’s game to host this year’s AFL Northwest Grand Final.
