After sitting on the sidelines for three weeks, the Inverell Saints are back on the paddock travelling to Gunnedah to play the Bulldogs at Wolseley Oval in round 15 action in the AFL Northwest competition.
Both Saints Men’s and women’s teams are leading their respective competitions, but tomorrow’s results could determine if they stay there.
Men’s Coach Hayden Chappel is looking forward to getting back to playing football but expects the Bulldogs to be tough opposition and hopes his team can play with a finals type approach, knowing a win will almost secure the minor premiership and a home major semi-final.
Meantime Women’s Coach Chris Pay will be hoping his team can hit top form despite the long break with their focus also on winning the minor premiership adding the Poochettes are always tough at home but believes his side can come away with a win.
In the other game, the Tamworth Swans face the resurgent New England Nomads at No1 Oval.
