An elderly woman was involved in a single vehicle accident near Warialda on Sunday morning.
Emergency crews were called to Allan Cunningham Road, near Gwydir Highway, north of Warialda Rail, following reports a silver hatchback had rolled.
Officers attached to New England Police District attended the scene and Fire and Rescue NSW freed an 82-year-old female driver who had become trapped in the vehicle.
She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Tamworth Hospital for further treatment and mandatory testing.
Inquiries continue.
