The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a dirt bike accident near Inverell on Sunday evening.
At around 6:30pm, a man in his 60s was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for chest injuries and was transported by road to Inverell Hospital to meet the helicopter’s critical care medical team.
The patient then received further treatment and was stabilised before being airlifted to Tamworth Base Hospital.
