A 36-year-old male was arrested after being involved in a high-speed police pursuit in Wellingrove and Glen Innes while driving a utility with stolen number plates and reaching excessive speeds in both rural and residential areas on Friday afternoon.
The pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns, but the offender was arrested the following morning after a coordinated police search operation and assistance from local property owners.
Property suspected of being stolen was seized with the male charged with multiple driving, property, and biosecurity-related offences and required medical assessment.
