Businesses, employers and employees across the region are invited to enter the New England North West Business Awards 2026, supported by Major Partner Joblink Plus. The Awards are a flagship program recognising achievement, innovation and impact across the regional economy.
The Awards celebrate success in all its forms, from micro businesses through to large employers, and acknowledges the individuals and teams driving growth, creating employment and strengthening industries across New England North West.
Business NSW New England North West Regional Director Stephanie Cameron said the Awards provide an important opportunity to recognise the depth and diversity of business activity across the New England North West.
“The Awards recognise the contribution businesses and their people make every day,” Stephanie said.
“They also give businesses the chance to reflect on their progress and share the work they are most proud of.”
Entries are open until 6 July, with businesses encouraged to participate regardless of size, sector or previous awards experience.
“We encourage businesses not to underestimate the value of their story,” Stephanie said.
“Whether your focus is building profile, recognising your team, strengthening reputation or marking a milestone, entering is a valuable process in itself.”
Supported by Major Partner Joblink Plus, the Awards program is independently judged by an experienced panel. Finalists will be announced on 25 August, with winners revealed at a Gala Dinner on 25 September at Club Quirindi.
Entry is free for Business NSW members, with category winners from locally delivered award programs across Tamworth and Uralla automatically progressing as New England North West Business Awards finalists.
With 21 categories open for entry, the program recognises achievement across a diverse range of industries.
Business NSW New England North West Regional Director Stephanie Cameron said a key focus of Business NSW is supporting regional development by working alongside local businesses to unlock opportunity and contribute to long-term economic growth.
“The Awards play an important role in recognising the outcomes being delivered by businesses and their teams across the New England North West,” she said.
“Beyond recognition, the Awards offer real value,” Stephanie said.
“They provide an opportunity to reflect on progress, assess achievements and consider future direction. Every business has a story of adapting, growing and responding to opportunity, and these Awards help bring those stories forward.” The Awards continue to highlight the strength of business across the region, with last year’s state Business of the Year, Walcha Coffee, proudly calling the New England North West home.
