The Inverell Saints are back at Varley Oval for the first time this season when they host the Gunnedah Bulldogs tomorrow in Round 4 of the AFL Northwest competition.
After going down last week to the Tamworth Kangaroos, men’s coach Hayden Chappel says the boys have had a solid week on the track and are keen to bounce back.
Meantime, the Saints Women’s team face their arch-rival the Gunnedah Poochettes in a grand final rematch.
Women’s Coach Chris Pay says he’s hoping for a better performance than last week but will have a few players return for the match adding they’re looking to reverse last week’s loss to the Kangaroos.
The match will celebrate Claire McCosker’s 100th and Christine Watters’ 50th games for the Saints.
The other game sees the Tamworth Swans tackle the New England Nomads at No 1 Oval.
