Charity organisation Aussie Helpers is in Inverell today to meet with local producers after receiving requests for assistance.
Aussie Helpers is a national rural support organisation, providing support to farmers and rural communities for 25 years.
After being in Inverell yesterday, Matt Shortus from Aussie Farmers says they’ll be at the Inverell Town Hall Annex today from 8:30 to meet up with producers doing it tough at the moment.
He’s encouraging those producers struggling through the current drought to come forward and discuss their issues and find out about the services they provide.
