It’s a big day of Anzac Day Group 19 Rugby League action tomorrow with the focus centered at Varley Oval for the Round 3 clash between the Inverell Hawks and the Glen Innes Magpies.
Hawks President Ethan Anderson says the day will begin just after the main Anzac Day Service with junior league matches starting the action followed at 1:30 by the Ladies league Tag match, their Anzac Day commemoration at 2:30 and then the 1st grade clash at 2:45.
Mr Anderson says the day will also incorporate Old Boys Day with their 1986 Hawks Grand Final team being honored and will be retro guernseys from the day which will be auctioned off for a local mental health organisation later in the day
In other games tomorrow, Tingha are at home at Bob Ward Oval to the Moree Boomerangs while the Warialda Wombats make the trip to Guyra to tackle the Super Spuds.
