The Uralla Ward A By Election was held on Saturday with Independents Bruce McMullen and Stephen Wright dominating the poll.
Mr McMullen received almost 24% of the votes while Mr Wright claimed over 19%.
Independent Natasha Ledger was next best with 12.4% of the votes followed by fellow Independent Marlene Jacobs with 11.52% and Australian Christians party candidate Duncan Fisher with 10.13%
Madeline Price, Susan Armstead and Mark McDiamid received single digit percentages of the vote.
