Two people have been arrested following a two-day Inverell sector police operation last week focused on Firearm Safe Storage Inspections, Road trauma, and High Visibility Patrols in Tingha, Bundarra and Warialda areas.
A30-year-old Inverell woman was arrested on 4 outstanding warrants on Wednesday after her vehicle was stopped for RBT on Bendemeer Street, Bundarra.
The woman was initially refused by police but later granted bail by the court and will appear in Kempsey Local Court 22nd of April regarding the matters.
Meantime, a 27-year-old Dubbo man was arrested in Stanborough for breach of bail and outstanding Domestic Violence offences committed in East Maitland and Raymond Terrace.
The man was refused bail by both police and the Parramatta Bail Division and will appear in Raymond Terrace Local Court on 7th of April.
More operations are planned, with further safe storage inspections across the Inverell sector footprint scheduled along with motor vehicle registration and licencing laws and safety in these areas.
