Inverell Shire Councillors have deferred a decision on a proposed feedlot at Bukkulla to the April Council meeting.
A Development Application has been received seeking Council consent for the construction and operation of a 999-head feedlot on the Ashford Road at Bukkulla.
Mayor Kate Dight says five submissions were received in response to development application with four parties addressing Council at Wednesday’s monthly meeting, objecting the proposal.
She says Councillors deferred a decision on the development application so they can review the application before making a determination.
