The man charged with murder following the death of another man at a campground off Point Lookout Road at Ebor remains behind bars after facing court yesterday.
NSW Ambulance paramedics found a 33-year-old man had died from critical head injuries on Monday after allegedly being struck with an axe by a 26 year old man following an altercation which also saw a 25-year-old woman assaulted and treated for bruising to her neck.
26-year-old Ahwen Kohn was later arrested on Waterfall Way, Ebor, and charged with Murder, intentionally choke person with recklessness, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Kohn was refused bail and will reappear at Armidale Local Court on the 22nd of April.
